Privacy Policy

This policy explains what MyMagicDeck collects and how it's used. MyMagicDeck is a hobbyist project; we try to collect as little as possible.

What we collect

• Account info: your username and email address. Your password is stored only as a salted bcrypt hash — we never see or store it in plain text.
• Your decks and uploads: the decks you build and any card/deck photos you upload.
• Technical data: your IP address is used transiently for rate limiting and abuse prevention, and standard server logs may record request metadata.

How we use it

To operate the Service: authenticate you, save and display your decks, process and serve your uploaded images, send account emails (such as password resets), and prevent abuse. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.

Cookies & local storage

We use your browser's local storage to keep you signed in and to cache your decks. We don't use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

Third parties

• Resend — sends transactional email (e.g., password resets). Your email address is shared with Resend only to deliver these messages.
• Cloudflare — provides network/CDN and TLS for the site.
• Scryfall — Magic card images are loaded from Scryfall's servers; your browser requests those images directly.

Your uploaded images are public by URL

Images you upload are served from a public URL so they can appear on shareable deck pages. Anyone with the link can view the image file. Don't upload anything you wouldn't want to be publicly accessible.

Retention & deletion

You can delete individual uploads and decks in the app at any time; deleting an upload removes the files and reverts decks that used it. To delete your entire account and associated data, contact us at the email below and we'll remove it.

Children

The Service isn't directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their data.

Changes

We may update this policy; the "last updated" date reflects the latest version.
